Terms & Conditions

Welcome to Intone Coatings & Finishes. These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern all services provided by Intone Coatings & Finishes (“Company,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) to clients (“Client,” “you,” or “your”). By requesting our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Scope of Work

We provide construction finishing services, including but not limited to painting, coatings, drywall finishing, and surface treatments. All work performed will be described in a detailed written estimate or service contract and subject to your approval before commencement.

2. Estimates and Pricing

• All estimates are free unless otherwise stated and valid for 30 days.

• Prices are based on the scope of work provided at the time of the estimate. Any changes or additions to the original scope may result in additional charges.

• A deposit may be required before work begins.
   

3. Scheduling and Delays

We will make every reasonable effort to begin and complete work according to the agreed-upon schedule. However, we are not liable for delays due to weather, supply chain disruptions, unforeseen site conditions, or other events beyond our control.

4. Payment Terms

• Payment is due according to the payment schedule outlined in your project agreement.

• Late payments may incur interest charges of 1.5% per month or the maximum allowed by law.

• We reserve the right to suspend work if payment terms are not met.
   

5. Site Conditions and Access

• The Client is responsible for ensuring safe and reasonable access to the job site during working hours.

• Any hazards or obstructions must be disclosed in advance.

• Additional costs may be incurred due to concealed or unforeseen conditions.
   

6. Warranties and Quality Assurance

• We warrant our workmanship for a period of [typically 1 year] from the completion date.

• Warranty excludes damage caused by misuse, natural wear and tear, acts of God, or unauthorized repairs.

• Any product-specific warranties are governed by the manufacturer’s terms.
   

7. Liability

• Intone Coatings & Finishes is insured and will exercise reasonable care in performing all work.

• We are not liable for incidental, indirect, or consequential damages arising from the use of our services.

• The Client is responsible for protecting any non-work areas from dust, debris, or accidental damage unless otherwise agreed.
   

8. Termination

• Either party may terminate the agreement for cause with written notice.

• If terminated by the Client without cause, the Company is entitled to payment for work completed and any materials ordered.
   

9. Intellectual Property

All custom plans, drawings, and methodologies created by Intone Coatings & Finishes remain our intellectual property unless otherwise agreed in writing.

 

10. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the [Insert State/Province], without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

 

11. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising out of or relating to our services will first be attempted to be resolved through informal negotiation. If unresolved, both parties agree to binding arbitration in [Insert City/State].
